Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. She is the younger of two sisters and an older brother. She was raised and born in Bahrain. Her parents had been to the country in the 1980s because of civil unrest that occurred in Sri Lanka. When she finished her studies in Bahrain her family was granted a Scholarship to attend Sydney's University of Sydney, where she completed a bachelor's degree of Media and Communications in Sydney, Australia. The love of different cultures and languages led her to join the Berlitz language school, where she improved on French and Arabic in addition to learning Spanish. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she was awarded the title in 2006. In the aftermath of winning the Miss Sri Lanka title in 2006, she took on the world of television. She anchored a show that was a business show in Sri Lanka named Lanka Business Report. Padukone was the daughter of badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew as a child in Bangalore however, she was born in Copenhagen. When she was a teenager she participated in national badminton events, but she backed off playing and went on to become a fashion designer. Padukone hails from Mangalore and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone Village is situated in Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi Distric of Karnataka within India. His father, Prakash Padukone, is an ex-badminton player with international repute, and her mother is a travel consultant.
