Allana Ferguson bio
Allana represented Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for several years before making the transition back to league. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana has added radio to her roster, and makes frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos rugby player and fourth time tear to the ACL is out of the game. Ferguson, who is 25 had previously experienced tears to the same ligaments in her teens, 17 and 20, when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her playing days were over. Ferguson is JILLAROOS's player who had to retire earlier due to a fourth accident to her left ACL.
