Allana represented Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for several years before making the transition back to league. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana has added radio to her roster, and makes frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and rugby union.
